Executive Leadership Not Taught in School

Experience an executive leadership program that will teach you lessons not taught in any school: a course designed for newly appointed fire chiefs and those preparing to become fire chiefs.

Using case-studies in a small-class format, fire service experts will take you through an intensive, two-day program that will:

  • Open your mind to proven leadership techniques
  • Broaden your circle of connections with the top fire service leaders
  • Develop your abilities to lead in ways currently unimaginable
  • Help you to become successful in the most challenging situations

Practical Knowledge

Attendees present and discuss case studies developed around situations that are relevant to them.

Hear what some past attendees have had to say:

“It was an insightful and dynamic experience! An invaluable educational experience that will have profound impact on my career.”

— Randy Karrer, Division Chief, Drexel Heights Fire District, Tucson, AZ

“Getting the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of others is the most efficient and painless way to go. The experience represented in the room was incredible.”

— Derrell Selleys, Daisy Mountain Fire, AZ

"As a new fire chief, having the ability to spend two full days with seasoned, veteran fire chiefs who have been uniquely successful throughout their careers transcended the ability to acquire knowledge. This course was at the “wisdom” level, the highest level of learning, providing me with insight and experience that would take years to gain on my own. I would highly recommend this course to any new fire chief, but there is also a great deal here for veteran fire chiefs as well."

— Randy Mirowski, Fire Chief, Loveland Fire and Rescue, CO
